Simon delights in having a purpose and reason to wake up in the morning. His mother was initially told that he was so severely disabled that he may never be able to move for him- self- but Simon is an active part of the Amy Street community. Simon spends his days as a part of a team working on the farm owned by the Trust , and doesn’t shy away from a bit of hard work! While non-verbal, Simon enjoys spending time with friends and other residents by grabbing a beer at the Workingmen’s Club after a long days work.

Hi Celeste
I really liked your film. You were so lucky to meet Murray Cooper! Do you still watch Shortland Street?

What a refreshing dose of some goodness on the planet. Not only are these wonderful people featured a breath of fresh air but the lovely people who take care of them and the trust look to be doing a fabulous job or providing normality. Thank you for the opportunity for a peak into the lives of these amazing souls.

Just watched all 8 episodes in a row, what wonderful art. Real Housewives of Auckland, are you kidding me. Congratulations to all of you, you are all stars. I don't think I've felt such emotion for sometime in this medium. You can be very proud of what you've achieved here. It certainly puts our "rat race" lifestyles in some kind of perspective. Thank you.

Such an inspiring set of short videos. I wanted to laugh and I wanted to cry. You have captured the essence of people living their lives whilst having challenges. I work in disabilities and these films remind me of why I am doing this job. Congratulations on your achievement.
